Title:USC legacy commits to Rival
Story:

Anthony McDonald has given Notre Dame their second linebacker commitment today. Anthony is a legacy of USC where his father played college ball. USC didn't even offer him which seemed strange. Usually if a legacy can run a 4.5 forty, which is excellent for a linebacker, they would get an offer. USC is stacked at linebacker so I don't think they will be offering a lot of scholarships. I guess they thougth Anthony was not a good enough player. Their loss is out Gain. Congratulations Anthony!

Anthony is a patient player and he shoots through holes when he sees him. At 6'3" 220lbs and wears the number 54 ala Brian Urlacher, he runs like a deer. One play, I saw from his film was he sat back and covered a man over the middle and started to creep towards the quarterback. He saw his hole and ran 10 yards and sacked him before the quarterback even knew hit him. He has good natural instincts and could be a very solid MLB once he gets some coaching from Mr. Brown! I think he is a very good pickup and helps us right away. He will be competing for the job after doing some special teams his freshman year.
