| Title: | What to Look for this Offseason |
| Story: | There are alot of things to look forward to this year. We have tons of competition and tons of new faces who are going to be on the field. Jimmy, Zach, Demetrius, and Evan going against each other for the QB position of the golden domes. RB looks even more exciting. We have a whole stable of RB that will probably see time on the field since the departure of Walker. Wide receiver is wide open after Mr. Grimes takes the number one spot at wideout. Look for some RB to be moved to WR since the WR position is not as stacked as RB. ND needs speed on the field in skill positions. I think this year we are going to see a lot of big plays on O. The OL looks the best it has in a few years with a bunch of new nasty OL. I think we will see a lot of problems due to first time starters and action seen on the college level. TE will be nice and packed with 4 great TE who could all be WR if needed. Yeatman will be in big sets. Carlson and Reuland will probably be used in spread formations and Ragone will be getting his feet wet.On the Defensive side of the ball, I have no clue where players are going to fit. From what is avaliable, Stewart is getting time at the NT position this spring. Laws will more to the DE position leaving one position open for challengers. I possible think that we are going to have two tweeners on the outside in Kerry Neal and Maurice Crum. In the Mike positions, I can see Smith and Crum starting. Brockington will back up and may even start. Brockington in the middle could move Crum to the outside and push Neal to third and long and coming in at the DE position. DB and safties are going to hopefully be McNeil and Walls with a little bit of Gray mixed in. Bruton and Zibby starting at Safety.I may just have to make the trek out to South Bend this April to catch the spring game. There is nothing better then to see a little competition between teammates. Brown's Defense will steal the show during this game! Count on that! |
