Title:Think About it - We will be fine!
Story:Lets think about about our current situation at Notre Dame. We are currently 0-4 and have lost 4 straight which has is a school record for losses. Things may get a lot worse before they get better. What seriously can we do? Start firing people? I don't think that would be the right thing for this team. We don't need anymore changes. Change out players because they are not doing a good job? No, because how is someone suppose to get better when they play here and there.

Charlie Weis is in his in his third year. This would actually be his first year, if Tyrone would have got his full 5 year deal with Notre Dame. He would currently have the rough year he is having. I feel Charlie is going to right the ship and within two years be playing in the BCS Championship game. If this was his first year and you give him another 2 years to work the kinks out, he would be in the likes of Greats like Holtz and Ara.

Charlie took two avg teams and instilled confidence when there was really no talent. How good do you think the last two years teams would have been if Ty was still here. 6-5, 7-6. We would have had none of the recruits that Charlie went out and got and we would be stuck in a bigger hole then we are with our current talent. I am happy to see Charlie starting a lot of younger players and getting them playing time. Young these players are but they are gaining playing time and tons of valuable reps. Players are leaving the team because they are not going to be in the starting lineup. These means there is competition in the depth chart and people are leaving because they are not starting. Did you see Neal and Smith this past weekend. Did that not get you a warm fuzzy feeling which made you feel good for just a second. Wait until both those guys are in the lineup just crushing offenses.
