Title:Darius Walk(er)s Away From Senior Year
Story:

I personally have been a fan of Darius since his two touchdowns against a Michigan team which was suppose to stomp us in 2004. It was one of the games, I will remember for ever. He was a calm and cool cat who took his time at everything he did. Even though sometimes, he should have shot through a hole or two in his three years. His answering style to questions was calm and collective. I think he was one of the players that I would want to watch his interviews.

For a person who had an official visit to the USC game where we got pummeled and then commits to us after, was a great pickup for us. He had confidence in us and we had confidence in him. He was a three star out of high school and after getting shuned by Reggie Bush, he was more then expected. If Darius would have stayed with us another year, yes he would have had to share the ball a little more, but he would have been the all time leading rusher. He already is the top receiving RB in Notre Dame History! With all the Greats that came before him to actually hold a record at Notre Dame is pretty amazing.

I personally think Darius should have stayed just to finish his education and grab the most yards by a back at Notre Dame. Everyone knows Charlie would have not given him the carries Darius got this year next year. Did Charlie push Darius out? I don't think he said to Darius, you should go to the NFL, but I think Charlie was thinking it. Coach Weis always says he wants everyone to complete there 4 years and get their degree but at the same time, Coach Weis loves to play with his many new toys. Darius also probably thought about how bad the team was going to be this year and he didn't want to be apart of a building process again. Darius is probably making a good jump but I think it is at the wrong time with all the undergraduate RB going this year. The NFL Draft is going to be loaded and it is the same thing Anthony did last year. But atleast Fasano went to Weis's Mentor.
